Some months ago I talked with a former Google employee that was telling me Google had 300 servers when he started working there. If I remember correctly, he said that six years later, they had 300 000 servers in something like 35 datacenters. We just launched our new datacenter here at iWeb and we will be able to host about 15 000 servers there, if everything goes as planned. Still far from Google’s needs !  I am writing this this morning because I came across this article : Google Seeks More Power - NY Times  that I find quite interesting and that I wanted to share. That’s what I call huge datacenters ! I can’t wait to see iWeb buidling one like this.
